Mountain Top

Standing alone on this mountain top
I'll come down when I decide to drop
You won't see me standing tall
Because I'm crouched into a ball

When I see me, I feel so ill
My time seems to be standing still
You talk to me, because you care
But don't you see we are getting nowhere

The pain inside me is here to stay
And I don't want it any other way
Sometimes I wish it all would end
Because suffering is my best friend

But I never felt sorry for myself
Because sorrow is an infinite wealth
I don't want to be alone when I drop
